Welcome to Always Sparkle Gifts Beautiful Super Sparkly teal and pink Seahorse mixed media Art wooden plaque. These plaques are all 30cm long by 10cm wide and have a bevelled type edge. The MDF has been painted and distressed to give that lovely worn out beach effect. Hand Crafted by Myself , Made with hundreds of tiny very high quality glass ab rhinestones and crystals all individually glued on to give this Seahorse the most beautiful sparkling effect. This particular one is slightly more expensive than other designs due to all the smaller detail involved. For example the Bubbles, shells and starfishes all add to the extra time it takes to create this piece. This has lots of beautiful old fashioned enamelled pieces of jewellery, with lots of buttons, beads and resin flowers. I have lots of different styles Available in my shop. From Starfish, seahorses, mermaids, to Hummingbirds and unicorns. Some ready to ship and some to order with your own ideas of colours etc. Most Of the rhinestones I use are vintage rhinestones circa 1950’s to 1980’s and some are made in France Czechoslavakia and also Austria. Most are foiled giving them extra sparkle I try to avoid using acrylic cheaper versions as you don’t get the sparkle you get with genuine glass rhinestones. This seahorse is Made out of vintage and modern pieces of recycled Jewellery and for extra sparkle a handful of Swarovski crystals This is a one off unique and special piece and there won’t be another like it. this Seahorse comes with a coordinating golden ribbon to hang with. I use a very strong acrylic glue to make sure no pieces fall off and then I seal it for extra security. And to top it off it’ll
come beautifully gift wrapped and boxed. Perfect addition for any Seahorse crazy person or maybe you’d just like to hang it in your own bathroom. Shell crafts diy
I created this original seahorse art with shells I collected along the shores of Long Island. Clam shells are used for the body, scallop shells for the crown and tail and whelk shells for the eyes and nose. There are such beautiful colors, designs and textures in these shells. I enjoy piecing them together to create art. I have signed the piece on a weathered clam shell, bottom right. The wood plaque is reclaimed pallet wood that has been cleaned and disinfected.
