Portland Vase. Barnard Edition (Bert Bentley). Wedgwood C1925
A superb special edition of the Portland Vase, decorated by Bert Bentley. The original mirrored stand shows the decoration to the base. Although decorated by Bert Bentley, this is the edition known as the Harry Barnard Edition. Barnard was tasked with creating a version as near as possible to the first edition, and he experimented with it for four years, before turning over production to the best of the ornamenters, Bert Bentley.
