This is just beautiful and odd. My two favorite things. A base with Three Carp, Koi, Fish or Chinese Dragons – not specified, so you can call it what you will – holding up a vase with grapes and leave painted at the bottom and flowers the rest of the way up. The age of this is unknown, but my best guess would be 1900-1920. 8 1/4 inches tall 4 1/4 inches at the base 4 inches at the widest point at the opening. There are chips on the pink and orange flowers. There are some dirt stains on the opening and inside. These may come clean, but I do not want to risk the quality of the rest of the piece to scrub it out. No other cracks, chips or crazing. Please see the photos for the best description. Ask if you would like more pictures or information. We want you to know exactly what you are getting before it arrives at your door. If you are buying more than one item from my shop, I will combine shipping and refund the difference.

Item No. 17988 Inquire ✉ Email A Friend Daoguang Period (1821-1850) Chinese overlay glass snuff Bottle. This white bodied snuff bottle has overlays of cobalt blue glass. At the sides there are designs of dragon handles. One side has the image of a long neck vase with a scholar’s fly whisk and a branch of ruyi fungus.
